PURPOSE: A currency calculating method and a currency calculating system using the same are provided to perform efficient exchange by using kiosks in each country and depositing currencies in the kiosks.;CONSTITUTION: If deposit information about a currency of a first country is received from a first kiosk, a currency value corresponding to the currency of the first country is calculated to relate the calculated currency value to the deposit information(S410-S430). A first item of a first transaction record is generated by using the calculated currency value and the deposit information. A withdrawal request corresponding to the first item is received from a second kiosk.
