PURPOSE: A currency calculating method and a currency calculating system using the method are provided to perform exchange while preventing a foreign-exchange loss of the exchange by using a standard currency. CONSTITUTION: A first kiosk(110) is located in a first country. When a currency of the first country is deposited by a user, the first kiosk issues a deposit certificate by using a standard currency value related to the deposited currency of the first country. A second kiosk(120) is located in a second country. The second kiosk withdraws a currency of the second country corresponding to the standard currency value.
