JIB REST FOR A CRANE OF A SHIP AND A HEIGHT CONTROL METHOD THEREOF CAPABLE OF EASILY CONTROLLING THE HEIGHT OF A REST FOR SUPPORTING A JIB

PURPOSE: A jib rest for a crane of a ship and a height control method thereof are provided to improve work efficiency with simplified work by easily controlling the height of the jib rest with using a small jack.;CONSTITUTION: A jib rest for a crane of a ship comprises two or more male sleeves(70), and female sleeves(80). The male sleeves are inserted in the female sleeves. Each contact part(90) of the arm sleeves contacting to the top of the male sleeves is tack-welded to prevent the separation of an upper structure(200) from the arm sleeves due to motion like the transportation and manufacture of the jib rest and the movement of a ship. A jack for adjusting the height of the upper structure of the sleeves is installed between the male and female sleeves.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
