LINK-TYPE LOCKING DEVICE FOR A MACHINE TOOL CAPABLE OF PREVENTING THE FALLING OF A HEAVYWEIGHT UPPER REVOLVING RING

PURPOSE: A link-type locking device for a machine tool is provided to lock a heavyweight revolving ring stably by enabling a piston and a locking shaft of a hydraulic cylinder to be connected to multiple links through a stopper in the narrow space of an upper main body.;CONSTITUTION: A link-type locking device for a machine tool comprises a locking shaft(53), a left link(43), a right link(44), and a stopper(45). The locking shaft is settled on an upper main body covering an upper revolving ring(10), and a locking gear(54) thereof is engaged with the gear of the upper revolving ring. The left and the right links are installed in the both sides of the piston of a hydraulic cylinder. The inner end of the left link is fixed to the inner wall of the upper main body using a link fixing pin(47), and the outer end is coupled to the piston using a cylinder rod pivot pin(49). The inner end of the right link overlaps with the left link and coupled to the piston, and the outer end is coupled to the top end of a link arm(40) using a link pin(48).
