PURPOSE: An ASP service system and method for remotely controlling a programmable logic controller device and a non programmable logic controller device using data abstraction are provided to monitor and control source data in a remote location using a web PC or a mobile device by converting the source data into abstraction data.;CONSTITUTION: A local PLC unit(100) performs programmable logic control in a local field. An ASP server(200) remotely controls the local PLC unit. The local PLC unit transmits source data to the ASP server. The local PLC unit controls a control device by receiving control data.
