PURPOSE: An antibiotic peptide and an antibiotic peptide composition containing the same are provided to ensure a high antibacterial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms.;CONSTITUTION: A peptide with antibacterial activity against microorganisms is represented by sequence formula I, (N-terminal)-N X1V K E X2I K Y L K S L F S H A F E V V K T-(C-terminal). In sequence formula I, X1 is T or a basic amino acid; and X2 is T or a non-polar amino acid. The peptide has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 5, 11, or 12.
