PURPOSE: A driver airbag is provided to control an opening and inflation speed of the airbag cushion by a inflation speed control unit so that the inflation force of the airbag cushion in early and late stages of collision depending on a kind of a vehicle are controlled.;CONSTITUTION: A driver airbag comprises an airbag case(100), an air bag cushion(200), a first tether(300), and a second tether(400). An airbag receiving part(110) is formed in the inside of the airbag case and the airbag case is mounted in a steering wheel of a vehicle. The periphery of the end portion of the airbag cushion is joined to the airbag case and the airbag cushion is inflated as a balloon shape when inflating the airbag. One end of the first tether is joined to an upper side of the end portion of the airbag cushion and the other end of the airbag cushion is joined to an inner side of a center upper part of the airbag cushion. One end of the second tether is joined to a lower side of the end portion of the airbag cushion and the other end of the airbag cushion is joined to a center lower part of the airbag cushion.
