PURPOSE: A method for measuring astronomical seeing precisely using geostationary satellite is provided to implement measurement of astronomical seeing precisely without a super fine tracking unit. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring astronomical seeing precisely using geostationary satellite includes the following steps: a processing part connected to a camera acquires an image with respect to geostationary satellite observed by a camera(S100); the centroid of the image is calculated to calculate center coordinate and define the initial center of the geostationary satellite(S200); and astronomical seeing is determined by curve fitting the image with respect to the geostationary satellite to the second dimensional Gaussian function using the center coordinate as the initial value(S300).
