PURPOSE: A magnetic damper system for controlling a damping ratio is provided to damp the vibration of a bridge inspection model by controlling the intensity of a magnetic field of a magnetic damper depending on a damping ratio, thereby obtaining a desired target damping ratio.;CONSTITUTION: A magnetic damper system for controlling a damping ratio comprises a magnetic damper(20), a vibration measuring member(30), a control member, and a power supplier. The magnetic damper comprises a jig, an operation rod, and an electromagnet body. The jig is fixed to a bridge inspection model. The operation rod is possible of 360° rotation and a damping towards a torsional direction by installing a hinge, thereby being fixed to the jig. The operation rod is inserted into the inside of the electromagnet body. The vibration measuring member is installed in the bridge inspection model, thereby measuring the vibration of the bridge inspection model. The control member damps the vibration of the bridge inspection model by controlling the intensity of a magnetic field of the magnetic damper depending on a damping ratio input in advanced after extracting the vibration of the bridge inspection model caused by perpendicularity or torsion by using signals measured by the vibration measuring member.
