摘要

Vibration control technologies are being applied in building structres using viscous or elastoplastic dampers.High performance viscous dampers such as oil dampers having a high coefficient of viscous damping are effective ofr vibration control.however,it is necessary to take countermeasures against the large reaction viscous damping force on the structrue during large seimic motions; reinforcement of the structure and a brace or relieving valve for controlling damping force.
