PURPOSE: A sonar device for micro marine robot is provided to enhance distance measurability, maintainability, waterproof ability, manual adjustability, control board interoperability, and visibility.;CONSTITUTION: A sonar device for marine robot comprises a sonar sensor(100) and a sonar connecting board(200). A sonar sensor generates acoustic waves in four directions and respectively receives the echo signals of the four directions. A sonar connecting board provides acoustic signals to sonar sensor and generates signal of distance data by calculating the distance between obstacles based on eco signals received from a sonar sensor. A sonar sensor comprises a case(101), a bolt type support(102), and a molding part(103). A case accepts the four ultrasonic elements which are respectively arranged in four directions on the inside and opens the top part. A bolt type support is extended from the center of the case to the top of it and has penetrated holes accommodate the cables which are electronically connected to the four ultrasonic elements. A bolt type support forms a screw thread in the outer surface. A molding part fills waterproof materials inside the case and makes the case waterproof.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
