PURPOSE: A foreign material removing device for a conveyor belt is provided to increase foreign material removal efficiency by changing the contact area between scraper parts and the belt according to the types of foreign materials and the moving speed of the belt, as the rotating angle of the scraper parts is controlled by a hinge part and an angle control support.;CONSTITUTION: A foreign material removing device for a conveyor belt comprises a pair of scraper parts, a hinge part(120), a first fixing rod(130), a link member(140), an angle control rod, a second fixing rod, and an elastic member. The scraper parts are placed on the top of the belt to scrape foreign materials. The hinge part is installed in one end of the scraper parts, and the other end of the scraper parts is rotatably coupled to both sides of the belt. The first fixing rod is installed in a frame to fix the hinge part. One end of the link member is connected to the first fixing rod and the other end thereof is connected to the hinge part to move the scraper parts downwards. The angle control rod fixes the other end of the scraper parts to control the rotation angle of the scraper parts. The second fixing rod is positioned on the top of the angle control rod and is installed in the frame to fix the angle control rod. One end of the elastic member is fixed to the second fixing rod and the other end thereof is installed in the angle control rod to attach the scraper parts to the top of the belt.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
