PURPOSE: A metal strip separating device of a metal strip casting facility is provided to minimize the damages on the surface of a casting roll, and freely control the separation angle of the metal strip against the casting roll.;CONSTITUTION: A metal strip separating device(10) of a metal strip casting facility rapidly cools a molten metal on the surface of a casting roll(100) so that a manufactured strip(S) is peeled from the casting roll(100). A metal strip separating device(10) is stuck to the casting roll(100), and includes a knife(12) which peels the metal strip(S) from the casting roll(100). One end side of the knife(12) is shaped into a blade(14) which is stuck to the casting roll(100). The other end side of the knife(12) is extended to a cooling part(110) which cools the metal strip(S) separated from the casting roll(100). The other end side of the knife(12) is rotatably axis-coupled to the end of the cooling part(110). A controlling part is further included for controlling the contact angle of the knife(12) against the casting roll(100). The controlling part includes a supporting member(30) which is installed at the end of the cooling part(110), and an adjusting bolt(34) which is screw-fastened to the fastening hole(32) formed on the supporting member(30) in order to pressurize the knife(12).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
