THE STERN APPENDAGE TO IMPROVE SHIP'S SPEED AND WAKE FIELD ON THE STERN OF SHIPS

PURPOSE: A stern appendage to improve the speed of a ship and the wake of a stern is provided to minimize the self-resistance of the stern appendage and to enhance the degradation of pressure resistance in front of the propeller. CONSTITUTION: A stern appendage(50) to improve the speed of a ship and the wake of a stern comprises multiple supporting shafts(10) and a flow control blade(30). The supporting shafts are installed on a stern in the front upper part of a propeller(200) and are symmetrically coupled to the stern in a downwardly oblique state. The flow control blade is fixed and installed in the front end of the supporting shafts and is transversely installed in parallel to the upper part of the propeller.
