PURPOSE: An authentication method and device using a temporary password including organism image information is provided to improve the processing speed in the process of authentication by reducing memory capacity of a server. CONSTITUTION: Iris image information for memory authentication of a terminal and server is registered and stored. One or more temporary passwords including iris image information obtained by camera are generated. The one or more temporary passwords including the generated iris image information are stored in a memory of the terminal and server, respectively. The iris image information is photographed using the camera equipped with the terminal for authentication. The temporary password including the iris image information stored in the terminal is transmitted to the server. The server including an algorithm judging coincidence of the temporary password judges the coincidence of the transmitted iris image information from the terminal with the temporary password stored in the server.
