PURPOSE: Section based positioning for a virtual world is provided to display an avatar of a first user in a different location, thereby preventing positioning of avatars with formation of the avatar which provides an outer shape of unpleasant content.;CONSTITUTION: An avatar positioning element in a game server receives a request for moving a first avatar related to a first user to a first location in a virtual world(610). When a section including the first location is identified, the avatar positioning element determines a second location in the identified section which displays the first avatar to a second user(615,620). The avatar positioning element outputs virtual environment to the first user(625).
