PURPOSE: Mode 2-door type of an air conditioner for a vehicle for automatically implementing an auto defog mode.;CONSTITUTION: A mode 2-door type of an air conditioner for a vehicle(100) comprises an air conditioner case(110), a vent door(120), a vent door conversion unit, a food door, a foot door conversion unit(150), and a control unit(160). The air conditioner case comprises a cooling fluid path and a heating oil furnace. The vent door is mounted at the air conditioner case which is adjacent between a face vent and a defrost vent. The vent door selectively opens and closes the face vent and the defrost vent. The vent door conversion unit converts the vent door. The food door is mounted at the air conditioner case which is adjacent to the food vent, selectively opens and closes the foot vent. The foot door conversion unit independently converts the foot door.
