PURPOSE: An adaptive spring with electro-variable elasticity is provided to rapidly and actively respond to a strong external shock by varying the level of currents through an electromagnetic coil according to the external shock and instantaneously controlling elastic modulus.;CONSTITUTION: An adaptive spring with electro-variable elasticity comprises a mechanical coil spring(100), a first rotary spiral coil(101-1), a second rotary spiral coil(101-2), and a plurality of rotary spiral coils. The first rotary spiral coil is regularly wound to be separated by an interval of one rotation along a rotary spiral spring steel wire which composes the coil spring. The second rotary spiral coil is connected to the first rotary spiral coil. The second rotary spiral coil is regularly wound to be separated by an interval of one rotation along the rotary spiral spring steel wire which composes the coil spring. A plurality of rotary spiral coils is connected to the second rotary spiral coil. A plurality of rotary spiral coils is regularly winded to be separated by an interval of one rotation along the rotary spiral spring steel wire which composes the coil spring.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
