PURPOSE: A system for providing use state information of an application and a method thereof are provided to read a use state of an application of other countries without joining a membership of a communication company of a corresponding country and to objectify and quantify a state of the same application by country. CONSTITUTION: A search engine unit(21) searches for application information. A main information processing server(22) requests the application information to the search engine unit, processes the application information transmitted from the search engine unit, and automatically generates application use state information indicating a use state of an application used in each country in order to provide the information to a user device. The application use state information includes ranking information based on the popularity and preference of the application. The ranking information is provided to each category, hierarchy, or country of the application.
