PURPOSE: A low power wireless charging device and a method thereof are provided to prevent unnecessary power consumption and to reduce the load of a main control part by periodically determining the existence of a receiver through a cheap auxiliary control part and operating the main control part only if the receiver exists.;CONSTITUTION: Multiple primary coils(110) correspond to multiple receivers(200-1,...,200-n), and more specifically, correspond to each secondary coil(210-1,...,210-n) of the multiple receivers one-to-one. Multiple drivers(120) are connected to the multiple primary coils, and transmit detection signals of each receiver generated from a low power auxiliary control part(150). A sensing part(130) detects the current and voltage resulting from a changed magnetic field from at least one of the multiple primary coils by using the detection signals of each receiver transmitted through the multiple drivers. A comparator(140) compares the current and voltage detected from the sensing part with a predetermined setting value. The low power auxiliary control part determines the existence of the multiple receivers corresponding to the multiple primary coils, and if at least one receiver exists, generates a wakeup signal and provides the wakeup signal to a main control part(160).
