PURPOSE: A Samgyetang(ginseng chicken soup) containing black ginseng and/or black garlic, and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce side effects and to improve lipid metabolism. CONSTITUTION: A Samgyetang for improving lipid metabolism is prepared by adding 1-10 parts by weight of black garlic or black ginseng to 100 parts by weight of chicken, and boiling the mixture with water.
