PURPOSE: A write retry operation control method and a storage device using the same are provided to partially perform data write from a position in which a write defect occurs when write retry operation is performed.;CONSTITUTION: A write start point is determined to perform the write skip of a written area in a sector to perform write retry(S101). Write operation is performed from the write start point(S102). A data size of the sector is set to be larger than the storage capacity of one servo section. The sector is composed of sub sectors.
