PURPOSE: A fallen ore preventing device for a belt conveyor is provided to prevent ores from falling under the belt conveyor by collecting the ores flowing along the inclined surface of the belt conveyor before the ores are fallen.;CONSTITUTION: A fallen ore preventing device for a belt conveyor comprises a jumping ore collecting bucket(100), a driving part(200), an ore detecting sensor(400), and a control part(500). The jumping ore collecting bucket is close to the belt conveyor to collect ores flowing along the inclined surface of the belt conveyor. The jumping ore collecting bucket falls the collected ores to the belt conveyor while ascending above the belt conveyor. The driving part is connected to the jumping ore collecting bucket by a wire(300) to ascend or descend the jumping ore collecting bucket. The ore detecting sensor is installed in the rear of the jumping ore collecting bucket to sense whether or the ores are loaded on the belt conveyor.
