The price of manganese ore for China bottomed out by that ( 3.50 US dollars per Mn 1% CIF ) settled for shipments in May to June of 2009 and, then, turned to rise. This rise of price for manganese ore continued to reach 8.70 US dollars CIF but, on the occasion of the price settlement for September shipment ( fixed at 7.20 US dollars per Mn 1% CIF China ), the prices of manganese ores for China have moved to fall. Having differed from prices of nonferrous metals, prices of manganese ores will move on a ground swell for a certain period and, therefore, prices of manganese ores are supposed to fluctuate on a weak tone for the time being.
