PURPOSE: A sunroof control device including a battery demounting function and a method thereof are provided to accurately and rapidly correspond to demounting a battery by determining the demounting of the battery.;CONSTITUTION: A sunroof control device(100) including a battery demounting function comprises a battery(110), a voltage measurement unit(120), a battery demounting detection unit(130), a sunroof control unit(140), a motor(150), and a sunroof(160). The battery is connected to the voltage measurement unit to supply the sunroof driving power and is connected to the battery demounting detection unit to supply the demounting detecting power. The voltage measurement unit drives a sunroof and measures the driving voltage to control the movement of the sunroof. The battery demounting detecting unit determines whether the battery is normally connected to the voltage measurement unit. The sunroof control unit controls the sunroof with a signal transmitted according to a demounting state of the battery. The motor performs an on or off operation according to a signal transmitted from the sunroof control unit.
