PURPOSE: A method for improving the performance of an oxide ceramic element for detecting visible light by controlling microstructure is provided to improve element performance by growing grains by using a hot press. CONSTITUTION: A composite is indicated as MAl2O4. At least one activator is selected from strontium, calcium, and barium. The composite is manufactured based on a metal element M. The composite is heated to grow grains and reduce crystal defects.
