PURPOSE: A wireless device position measuring method and a system are provided to measure the position of a wireless device such as an AP exactly, thereby improving the accuracy of user position providing services using the wireless device position.;CONSTITUTION: If an AP(10) is searched(S405), a mobile apparatus(100) produces an RSSI of the AP(S410) and produces own GPS coordinate(S415). Mobile apparatus transmits an MAC address of the AP, the RSSI and the GPS coordinate of the AP to an AP position measuring server(200)(S420). The AP position measuring server obtains the coordinate estimation information of the AP in an AP- DB(300)(S425). The AP position measuring server produces the coordinate capable ranges of the AP from the coordinate estimation information of the AP(S430). The AP position measuring server uniformly selects coordinates from the position coordinates included in the coordinate capable ranges of the AP.
