PURPOSE: A steering angle estimation device and a method for the same are provided to enhance ESC system control accuracy and stability according to the steering intension of a driver by estimating an absolute steering angle using a wheel speed detection unit or yaw rate detection unit.;CONSTITUTION: A steering angle estimation device comprises a wheel speed detection unit(10), a yaw rate detection unit(20), a control unit(30), and a storage unit(40). The wheel speed detection unit detects the wheel speed of a vehicle. The yaw rate detection unit detects the yaw rate of the vehicle.
