PURPOSE: A gateway setting method of a vehicle network based on AUTOSAR(Automotive Open System Architecture) and a device thereof are provided to enable an electric field application developer to easily set a gateway model of the vehicle network.;CONSTITUTION: A candidate selection unit(310) selects an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) connected to two communication clusters as a gateway candidate. A gateway generation unit(320) generates a gateway object based on the ECU and generates a gateway meta-model which includes the gateway object based on an object generation input value. An object generation unit(321) generates the gateway object based on a context menu of the ECU.
