SYNTHETIC METHOD OF A LARGE AMOUNT OF 2,2'-DIHYDROXY-1,1'-BINAPHTHYL-3-CARBOXYLIC ACID BY A SIMPLE AND ECONOMIC METHOD

PURPOSE: A synthetic method of 2,2'-dihydroxy-1,1'-binaphthyl-3-carboxylic acid is provided to reduce manufacturing period by simplifying manufacturing process and to reduce manufacturing cost by increasing production yield.;CONSTITUTION: A synthetic method of 2,2'-dihydroxy-1,1'-binaphthyl-3-carboxylic acid comprises a step of manufacturing 2-hydroxynaphthalene, 3-hydroxy-2naphthalenecarboxylic acid with copper-amine composite to obtain 2,2'-dihydroxy-1,1'-binaphthyl-3-carboxylic acid. The copper-amine composite is selected from t-butyl amine, dibutyl amine, isopropyl amine, diethyl amine, pentyl amine, piperidine, morpholine, or a mixture thereof.
