PURPOSE: A probe set for diagnosing or detecting CCMV(Cowpea chlorotic mottle virus) is provided to reduce damage due to viral diseases in agricultural products and to increase product yield. CONSTITUTION: An oligonucleotide probe set for diagnosing or detecting CCMV contains one or more oligonucleotides selected from the group consisting of oligonucleotides in sequence numbers 371, 416-419, and 436-443, and complementary oligonucleotides thereof. A method for diagnosing or detecting CCMV comprises: a step of isolating RNA from a sample; a step of synthesizing cDNA from the RNA; a step of hybridizing the cDNA with the probe set; and a step of detecting hybridization.
