PURPOSE: A primer for determining the origin of blackmouth angler, and a method for determining the origin of blackmouth angler using the same are provided to accurately and simply determine the origin using a polynucleotide with base sequences of sequence numbers 1 and 2 or 3 and 4. CONSTITUTION: A primer for determining the origin of blackmouth angler comprises: a first polynucleotide containing a base sequence of sequence number 1 or a base sequence which is complementary to the base sequence of sequence number 1 and a second polynucleotide containing a base sequence of sequence number 2 or a base sequence which is complementary to the base sequence of sequence number 2; or a first polynucleotide containing a base sequence of sequence number 3 or a base sequence which is complementary to the base sequence of sequence number 3 and a second polynucleotide containing a base sequence of sequence number 4 or a base sequence which is complementary to the base sequence of sequence number 4. The first and second polynucleotides are a forward primer and a reverse primer, respectively.
