PURPOSE: A primer for determining origin of blackmouth angler and a method for determining origin of blackmouth angler using the same are provided to accurately and simply determine origin of blackmouth angler using polynucleotides of sequence numbers 1 and 2 or 3 and 4 as a primer. CONSTITUTION: A primer for determining origin of blackmouth angler contains: a first polynucleotide with a base sequence of sequence number 3 or a complementary base sequence thereof; and a second polynucleotide containing a base sequence of sequence number 4 or a complementary base sequence thereof. A method for determining origin of blackmouth angler comprises the steps of: isolating nucleic acids from blackmouth angler; amplifying the nucleic acids with the primer; and analyzing the amplified product.
