PURPOSE: A structure for a ballast tank is provided to prevent corrosion inside the ballast tank caused by a raised temperature inside the ballast tank due to direct sunlight by arranging an available space between the ballast tank and an exposed deck.;CONSTITUTION: A structure for a ballast tank comprises an exposed deck(11), a ballast tank(13), and an available space(15). The exposed deck forms the upper surface of a marine construction. The ballast tank maintains ballast water of the marine construction. The available space is independently formed between the exposed deck and the ballast tank. An upper part of the ballast tank is not exposed to direct sunlight.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
