CEREBRAL BLOOD FLOW INSPECTING APPARATUS FOR SHORTENING THE INSPECTION TIME AND A METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A cerebral blood flow inspecting apparatus and a method are provided to perform accurate TCD inspection by detecting the location of the measured cerebral blood flow in a brief time using ultrasound.;CONSTITUTION: A cerebral blood flow inspecting apparatus(10) comprises a probe(100), an analysis unit(140), a display unit(150), and a power unit(160). A probe(100) comprises a collimator unit(110), an ultrasound-transducer(120), and a control unit(130). A collimator(100) includes several collimators. Each collimator transfers ultrasound to the measured cerebral blood flow and receives a reflected wave reflected from the measured cerebral blood. An ultrasound-transducer(120) generates ultrasound and transfers electrical signal to an analyzing unit(140) by receiving and converting reflected ultrasound waves into electrical signals. A control unit(130) controls the operation of the collimator unit(110) and ultrasound transducer(120). An analyzing unit(140) estimates the location of the measured cerebral blood flow(1) by analyzing the reflected wave received from the collimator unit(110).
