PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring the abrasion of a hook pin of a large crane are provided to reduce the burden of costs by replacing the hook pin and a sleeve when the abrasion thereof reaches the limit without a fixed replacement cycle.;CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring the abrasion of a hook pin(50) of a large crane comprises a deflection indication unit and a deflection display unit. The measuring device is installed in a large crane including a hook(40) to be installed in a hanger(30) by the hook pin rotatably. The deflection indication unit is installed in one spot between the lateral surface of the hook and the lower part of the hanger and indicates the extent of the deflection of the hook. The deflection display unit is installed in one spot where the deflection indication unit is not installed between the lateral surface of the hook and the lower part of the hanger and displays the extent of the deflection of the hook.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
