PURPOSE: An electricity demand forecasting method and a system thereof are provided to forecast electricity demand by reflecting several factors such as a building's structural characteristics, the situation inside and outside a building, load-specific energy consumption characteristics, and load-specific energy consumption history based on an error correction algorithm. CONSTITUTION: A system collects the load-specific situation and status information (S201), the load-specific information about energy consumption (S202), and the information about climate (S203). Based on the collected information, a database is established (S204) and a coefficient for predicting electricity demand is calculated (S204). Using the database and the coefficient, basic demand estimates are calculated by load (S206). And the results are used to calculate an electricity estimate reflecting all the loads (S207). An optimal electricity demand estimate is calculated out by using a certain error correction algorithm (S208).
