PURPOSE: An ultrasound system and method which estimates the movement of a particle using a vector doppler are provided to observe a vortex of an object by offering the movement of the object with the movement of the particle.;CONSTITUTION: A processor (130) detects vector information of an object. The processor forms a doppeler mode image using the vector information. The processor sets up one or more particles in the doppeler mode image. The processor estimates the movement of the particles using the vector information.
