METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CONDUCTIVE ZINC OXIDE NANOPOWDER DOPED WITH A DIFFERENT KIND OF ATOM BY A HYDROTHERMAL METHOD CAPABLE OF USING ZINC OXIDE NANOPOWDER FOR A TRANSPARENT CONDUCTIVE FILM, A CATALYTIC MATERIAL, AND A SENSOR
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CONDUCTIVE ZINC OXIDE NANOPOWDER DOPED WITH A DIFFERENT KIND OF ATOM BY A HYDROTHERMAL METHOD CAPABLE OF USING ZINC OXIDE NANOPOWDER FOR A TRANSPARENT CONDUCTIVE FILM, A CATALYTIC MATERIAL, AND A SENSOR
PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing conductive zinc oxide nanopowder is provided to easily synthesize zinc oxide nanopowder in a plate form with enhanced electroconductivity by doping zinc oxide with a different kind of atom by a low temperature hydrothermal synthesis method.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing conductive zinc oxide nanopowder comprises a step of doping starting materials with 0.05-5 wt.% of a different kind of atom as dopant based on the weight ratio, and performing hydrothermal treatment at the temperature of 80-150°C for 8 hours. The method uses zinc acetate and zinc nitrate as starting materials; and uses sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, ammonium hydroxide, and urea as a precipitating agent. The dopant is selected among gallium nitrate, aluminum acetate, aluminum nitrate, indium nitrate, yttrium acetate, yttrium nitrate, silicon acetate, silicon nitrate, lithium acetate, sodium acetate, magnesium nitrate, potassium acetate, strontium nitrate, calcium acetate, and barium acetate. The shape of the zinc oxide nanopowder is controlled by adding the precipitating agent and a hydrochloric acid, which is an inorganic acid, as a pH adjusting agent into the starting materials.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
