PURPOSE: An image processing apparatus and a method thereof are provided to reduce the saturation of an image by determining a distance to a subject through a plurality of distance measurement sensors and controlling automatic exposure weighted value.;CONSTITUTION: A digital image converter converts an optical image reflected from a subject into image data (S100).
