PURPOSE: A technique on image recognition of traffic signs and a system thereof are provided to recognize various sizes of traffic signals with a multi-scale generating and processing unit and to use a learned property for the recognition of the traffic signs by learning and predicting a property of the traffic signals extracted by a property extracting unit with a property learning unit.;CONSTITUTION: A traffic sign recognition system includes a multi-scale generating and processing unit (100), a property extracting unit (200), and a property learning unit (300). The multi-scale generating and processing unit generates a scale of input images and different color format images and recognizes various sizes of traffic signs. The property extracting unit extracts properties of the recognized traffic signs.
