PURPOSE: A method is provided to manufacture functional germinated brown rice by irradiating UV-A wavelength which is the specific wave of an environment-friendly LED. CONSTITUTION: After brown rice is sterilized, the brown rice is germinated by soaking the brown rice at 20-30C for 18-30 hours in dark condition. The germinated brown rice is irradiated with a light emitting diode (LED) at 15-20C for 5-10 days. An amino acid is one among threonine (Thr), valine (Val), methionine (Met), isoleucine (Ile), leucine (Leu) and phenyl (alanine (Phe) or tyrosine (Tyr)).
