摘要

PURPOSE: A ZnSnO3 nanorods coated with palladium particles, a preparation method thereof, and gas sensor using the same are provided to form a palladium cluster on the surface of a nanorod to absorb oxygen chemical species gas and to enlarge the area of the nanorod by making the surface of the nanorod uneven, thereby improving sensitivity of sensing gas. CONSTITUTION: A ZnSnO3 nanorods for a gas sensor includes a ZnSnO3 nanorod and a palladium particle coating layer which is coated on the surface of the nanorod. The thickness of the palladium particle coating layer is 10-50 nm. The ZnSnO3 nanorod for a gas sensor detects one or more kinds of gases selected from a group composed of carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, ethanol, hydrogen sulfide, and hydrogen.
