PURPOSE: A method for searching the optimum dispersion condition and the physical cohesion condition of water-base titanium-dioxide suspension is provided to produce water-base titanium-dioxide sol with excellent thixotropy and combination property without adding an organic solvent or an organic binder through improving rheology.;CONSTITUTION: A method for searching the optimum dispersion condition and the physical cohesion condition of water-base titanium-dioxide suspension comprises the following steps: mixing water and titanium-dioxide to obtain the water-base titanium-dioxide suspension; adding a HCl solution and a NH4OH solution into the water-base titanium-dioxide suspension by varying the insertion amount to adjust the pH of the suspension; dispersing the suspension with the adjusted pH by force, and measuring the zeta potential at the pH. The method conducts the pH adjusting step and the zeta potential measuring step repeatedly to search the zeta potential which is suitable for the optimum dispersion condition and the physical cohesion condition of each pH.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013;[Reference numerals] (AA) Isoelectric point
