PURPOSE: A method for operating communication-based service function and a system and a terminal supporting the same are provided to support a transmitter terminal and a receiver terminal to select and use at least one communication function among various communication functions which are supported by the receiver terminal, when the transmitter terminal and the receiver terminal perform communication-based service function.;CONSTITUTION: A receiver terminal (200) provides a communication-based service list in which a user is able to select one of at least communication-based service item according to the reception of a call connection request message of a transmitter terminal (100). The transmitter terminal transmits the call connection request message to the receiver terminal. The transmitter terminal receives and outputs the communication-based service list provided from the receiver terminal.
