PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring a location of a gondola robot are provided to grasp a current position where the gondola robot is working according to the patterns of a photographed patch.;CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring a location of a gondola robot is as follows. The gondola robot, which manages an outer wall of a building by being hung on a rope (118) of a rope cart (10), photographs patches attached on the building by using a camera. Patterns of the patches are recognized based on the images photographed by the gondola robot.
