PURPOSE: A combing element for a circular comb of a combing machine is provided to directly connect both ends adjacent to a clothing element without breaking of a comb surface by attaching a welding core into a protruding end part of the clothing element. CONSTITUTION: A combing element for a circular comb of a combing machine comprises a mounting bar (H1-H3) having a supporting surface (A). A base surface (T) is stationed on the supporting surface on the opposite side of sawtooth clothing (ZG) of a clothing element (E1-E3). In view of a longitudinal direction of the clothing element, both end parts of the clothing elements are protruded over a range of a side surface (F) of the mounting bar adjacent to the supporting surface. The clothing element is combined to the mounting bar by at least one welding core (P). The at least one welding core is attached between a base surface of the both end parts of the clothing element that is protruding over the range of the supporting surface of the mounting bar and the mounting bar.
