PURPOSE: A composite-forming material has excellent reinforcing effect and flexibility and is applied to a thin film-forming electronic component by maintaining long fiber length. CONSTITUTION: A composite-forming material is formed by mulling glass short fiber to a thermoplastic resin. The diameter of the glass short fiber is 1-7 micron, the average length is 30-300 micron, and the aspect ratio is 10 or greater. A forming method of the composite-forming material includes a step of heating the glass short fiber to -150 to +50C and putting the heated glass short fiber into a melted thermoplastic resin. The glass short fiber is surface-treated with a silane coupling agent and/or lubricant.
