PURPOSE: A function testing device for a driver in a heavy water reactor is provided to save time and human resources for reinstallation by testing the precise operation of a driver. CONSTITUTION: A housing (110) provides a space for each element to be installed. A driver pedestal (120) drives a regulating rod of a heavy water reactor. A driver pulley (130) is connected to the rotary shaft of a driver and a belt is combined to the outer circumference. One end of the ring-shaped belt is combined to the driver pulley and the other end is combined in a weight pulley (136). The weight has the weight corresponding to the weight of the regulating rod. The weight pulley is rotatably coupled in the upper end of the weight and a belt is combined at the outer circumference. A management unit supplies power necessary for the operation of the driver and collects information about the operation state of the driver.
