METHOD FOR FORMING A PLANT BODY BY CULTURING LAMINAE OF A VARIETY OF BLUEBERRY SUCH AS BLUEGOLD, ELIGABETH, WOODARD, OR TIFBLUE

PURPOSE: A method for forming a plant body by culturing laminae of a variety of blueberry such as Bluegold, Eligabeth, Woodard, or Tifblue is provided to enable simple culture by directly using leaves of blueberry seedlings without a precise technique such as the collection of growth points.;CONSTITUTION: A method for forming seedlings of Bluegold which is a variety of blueberry by culturing laminae comprises the steps of: culturing laminae of a seedling, in which petiole is removed in a medium containing 1-3 mg/L of zeatin, 1-3 mg/L of zeatin riboside, 35-37 mg/L of ferric sodium salts (FeNa-EDTA), 98-102 mg/L of myo-inositol, 20-40 g/L of sucrose, and 5-7 g/L of agar and culturing the laminae in the shade for two weeks; culturing the laminae by light to form callus and multiple shoots; and culturing the callus and multiple shoots in a medium containing 1-3 mg/L of zeatin, 35-37 mg/L of ferric sodium salts (FeNa-EDTA), 98-102 mg/L of myo-inositol, 1-3 mg/L of thiamine HCl, 0.5-1.5 mg/L of nicotinic acid, 0.5-1.5 mg/L of pyridoxine HCl, 20-40 g/L of sucrose, and 5-7 g/L of agar to form seedlings and redifferentiate a plant body.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013;[Reference numerals] (AA) 16th week after culturing; (BB) 24th week after culturing; (CC) 32th week after culturing; (DD) Variety; (EE) Bluegold; (FF) Eligabeth; (GG) Woodard; (HH) Tifblue
